The Journeys ... The Current Trip

So, nine months have passed since my last entry to my travel diary. And would you know, this entry is for a new trip!

While and since cycling through Asia, we have been talking about living and working here - at least for some time. So we went back to the western world to replenish the bank accounts and make it happen. I'm not an overly spiritual person and don't really believe in the 'if you believe in something strong enough, it will happen' attitude. However, I believe that only if you really want something to happen, can it happen. We were lucky to find jobs out here on Phuket, Thailand. But we were only lucky because we tried. Things rarely just happen to you. You have to make them happen to you.

...and that ends todays Philosophy 101...

Now we are here. The first goal will be to get on top of our respective jobs and settle into the Thai lifestyle. At least the latter shouldn't prove to be too difficult. Once we have achieved that, we do have some plans for some trips, activities and adventures. And of course, you will be the first to know and see.
