Altogether I spent about 6 month in the pacific region. It is a area of great diveristy: the Outback in Australia, paradisiac Islands on Fiji, glaciers in New Zealand - it's all there. Especially New Zealand is a great recomendation for a first time traveller: it's safe and at the same time leaves enough room to travel at your on initiary. Just don't step into a Kiwi Experience Bus (the same goes for Oz Experience in Australia).
Well, between March 2005 und May 2006, I will study in Perth, Australia, which will probably enhance my understanding of the country a bit more...and lets you enjoy some more Aussie Pics.
